Next Semester of SF-12

Typically we take the spring semester of SF-12 (4-5 weeks) and do a topical study. I have set up a voting spot on the right side of the screen to get a feel for what you could get excited about teaching. Today I added a new idea. What are your thoughts on our students learning about Finances/Money/Budgeting/Giving/Saving/Credit Cards/Debt/Insurance all of the things that come along with being a working human in today's society. The goal would be to give them a Biblical view of money that they may not be getting in economics classes at school. As always feel free to comment.

Hey Bryan,
I think that the finance idea for kids is great. I say go for it.

Brian-
I think talking about tithing, finacial responsibility, cash vs. credit, debt, restraint and contentment would be great topics for our students! I certainly isn't what the world focuses on.

What do you think of changing the format a little and having a longer 25-30 minute teaching time (by a finance teacher) after worship? That way leaders can answer some questions but not feel that they need to be finance experts.
